The encouragement of artists, regardless of their age, is one of the primary aims of the Grimandi Art Gallery. To this end, the Society members offer workshops, talks and demonstrations to the public during the course of the Annual Grimandi Art Gallery Exhibition.
These cover different aspects of artistic endeavor including sketchbooks, plein air painting, use of graphite, watercolour, etc. Applications from non-members to show in the Annual exhibition are also very welcome and many of their works are showcased alongside the works of the Grimandi members.
Some of the members are called upon by outside groups or colleges to offer talks and advice to their students. The Council also makes an effort to visit Degree shows across the country in order to talk with students and encourage the development of their skills.
